WHAT HAS PREP TAUGHT ME SO FAR… -Resilience -Acceptance -Gratitude Let me explain a bit more… Resilience- so one of my main lessons so far is that I can push past moments of extreme doubt. I’m proving to myself that I am stronger than I thought I was. I’m not walking out of the gym because a session feels hard af and I have no energy, I’m pushing through it, I’m doing my cardio despite wanting to cry at times because I’m worn out and its hard af. I’m doing it. My goal is more important than feeling hungry and tired. Acceptance- I am learning to accept the processes and how I look and feel through the stages, learning to silence the negative thoughts and self doubt. Learning who I am all over again. And I’m liking me. Gratitude- so many little things I started to feel grateful for such as being able to watch the sunset, take my dog for walks, having food on my plate, most importantly the support circle I have around me, my family, coach, posing coach, friends, work colleagues, clients.
